This event is for anyone and everyone who has ever wanted to learn about Bachata and Dominican Culture. We are committed to creating a nonjudgemental and consent based dance environment that encompasses inclusivity, accessibility and love.

Who/What :
International Dance instructors Ace Fusion and Ciara will be hosting a Traditional Bachata Bootcamp/Social in the DMV featuring Adam Taub!

Adam Taub is a documentary filmmaker, bachata researcher and dance teacher. Adam has, for over a decade, had broad experience in the world of Bachata. He has lived in the Dominican Republic and conducted extensive research, in-depth video projects, and recorded interviews with bachata legends. Adam is widely recognized for his innovative presentations and the unique pedagogy he has developed for teaching bachata dance and musicology. Adam has been invited to teach and present his work at dozens of national and international salsa and bachata festivals, libraries, cultural centers, and universities.

ALL LEVELS Bachata Bootcamp. No Partner Needed!

1:30pm-6:30pm : 4 hours of fun educational bachata bootcamp (Schedule of breakdown of bootcamp details coming soon ) ; 1 hour dinner break in between

9pm-10pm : 1hour of Amargue Fusion Style Footwork/Partner work Session

10pm-2am : Amargue Fusion Saturday Night Social
